lower unit,,,broke fin

was wonderin what a good fix for this is,,,,,,i know new lower unit right,,,lol,,,,i was thinking cutting a stainless steel plate,,,and riviting ,,and glassing the rest,,,,any other ideas?

If the motor does not cavatate i would not change anything just smooth out edges

Check ********* to see if they have a stainless steel replacement. They're about $100.

Don't put stainless steel on it . . . Too much galvanic corrosion.

A local shop that does aluminum welding (TIG Welder) should be able to fix it.
