control adapters

This is my first post.. does anybody know if you can adapt 1998 evinrude 150 controls to work with a 200 mercury 150 xr6

no....the wiring harness is different and Evinrude pushes while Mercury pulls in regards to shifting and throtte...you need a new controller with power trim..Ebay used around $150-$175....New around $250
