First off ask yourself what you are looking for, how much do you want to pay, what do you plan to do with it and can you handle some repairs? Yammie engines were late to the field, but have earned a very good reputation.....just look at how many OEM boat mfgrs offer them in new boat packages...Ranger for one and they are a pristeen boat builder and have been for years. Had one I bought in '89...superb boat.....450 hrs on the engines is 45 trips out and back 5 hrs...at 20mph = 100 miles into the gulf; not counting idling, putting and all that...the clock runs if the engine is on. Shorter distance obviously more trips. Not many hours on an engine that gets the oil changed in the engine and LU and is not corrosion inhibited in my opinion.
Cobia has been making boats since the '60 I know of as my friend had one in '65 and they were being made before he bought his......quality survives the test of time. By '03 probably all the wood was gone from the sub-structure so you shouldn't have to worry about stringer, transom, or deck wood rot.
If it is what you want, price that you want to pay, looks like the prev. owner cared about his equip and took proper care of it, go for it. Care is probably 80% of the value of something. Lots of folks on here report buying used boats and having stellar luck with the purchase.
