99 90 hp johnson bogs down

helllo can any when help me out? I have a 99 johnson idles ok runs at high speeds fine, but if the motor is shut down for a brief period it will start and idle up fine and rev up in nuetral, but sonn as it is put in gear it will stall. im able to play with the throttle after a few time and get it back up t speed in gear but cant fugure out the problem. Compression good, new plugs, new therms and water pump, no overheat alarm, cleaned fuel filter. any ideas or advice appreciated thanx

Carbs........ They need to be removed and completely cleaned. The carbs have small passages which get clogged easy and really need to be serviced about every season. I have had the same issue on my V-4 and cleaning the carbs fixed it.
