18' bowrider I/O conversion to center console outboard

Hi everyone I am new to this site and relatively new to boating. It is amazing how many hours you can spend getting lost in all these threads. Such knowledge and advice here! Anyways, I have an opportunity to receive a free 18' V hull bowrider I/O boat and trailer that has no motor and the interior needs work. I would love to turn this into a center console outboard fishing boat. I understand that this takes time and money, but I have both of those and am not to concerned about how long it would take. After reading and watching hours of videos on this site I feel it would be a fun and rewarding project. So my question is would this boat make a good center console? One of my concerns would be how it rides as a center console and would there be any balancing or power issues? Thanks for any feedback! Love this site!
