Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2 and Bravo transom cutout/templates please.

Hi all,

I'm considering re-powering from my old Merc/Cummins 1.7dti engine (4800 hrs) to the new Hyundai Seasall D Series 170hp. Currently I have a an Alpha one Gen 2 drive and would like to upgrade to a Bravo 2X drive for the new engine.

Could someone please point me in the right direction for the transom shield cutout templates drawings so I can check for any issues.....?

The cutouts are the same for the Alpha and the Bravo.

Thanks for your prompt reply Don. Do you know if the holes for fixing/mounting are the same also? Does anyone have access to a the template for me to take a look at?

Ayuh,... Same keyhole, same bolt holes, same ole same ole,...
No template needed, they're the SAME...
