Tilt/Trim Question

Hi All

My cover came off my boat last week, and some rain got into the controls and caused the tilt/trim to be stuck on, lifting the engine continuously until the battery ran flat.

There are no leaks of fluid etc, and I am recharging the battery, but would this have damaged the PTT unit, or just run the battery out?

there are bypass and relief valves. if the motor is okay then you should be okay.

I had the same thing happen about a month ago. The solenoid on mine got stuck and ran the battery down. I didn't catch it for several days.
I replaced the solenoid, charged the battery and all was well.
