Just picked up a 9.5hp Evinrude 9422 R Sportwin from a friend. It looks like its hardly been used. I haven't tried starting it yet but plan on in a few days.
Wondering if anyone could give me some info on the motor. I don't know the year on it. Any suggestions on how to figure that out?
What kind of spark plugs are recommended for this?
Also does anyone have any parts or repair manuals on it I could get from ya? I would like to replace the impeller and rebuild the carb.
In the past ya all have been so helpful on getting my other motor going. BTW, my 1953 15hp Evinrude is running great. Thanks to all of ya who got me parts and taught me how to fix it. I think I have a bug on working on these now.
