Hi, can someone tell me how to adjust the fule mixture screw on a 2000 4 hp 2 stroke johnny? Is it the little red adjustment knob on the side of the engine the tiller is on? It starts, runs fine but troubles to idle, thank you !
I believe that is your throttle stop. To adjust your mixture screw, you should find a adjustment screw on the front of your carb. It'll be number 10 in your diagram below. You might see if it is attached to a knob on the front of your motor.

Not sure exactly what model number your motor has, but there were only two 4hp models in 2000. This link will give you a choice as to what model you have.
