As anyone who has seen any of my previous posts will realise I'm having some trouble with my 165 drive. I'm considering replacing it with a newer Alpha1 drive. The drive I'm looking at is currently fitted to a V8 engine (260hp), which could come with the drive for not a lot more cash. The boat originally had a 165 straight 6 engine, which has been replaced by a V6 and I'm now considering a V8. Could anyone let me know the weights of these three engines for comparison please.
