Are you referring to the idle passage above the carb intake?......it has an orifice, washer and plug like the rest of the carb circuits so non adjustable unless you start experimenting with orifice sizes and you really dont want to do that......im assuming youre not at elevation?
I must be missing something.....the '82 carbs were the non adjustable......it was the last year of those.....'83 on had needles above the carb intakes, the static setting on those is lightly seated then out 1 1/4 turns, you will have to fine tune running in the lake tied to the dock......what is the model number of your motor?
