Yes for get the dash and just search for qd21 and you will get results.
Now the search will not work with 3 letter search terms........ or it would return too many results so the 4 letter is the minimum allowed by the forum software.
You can use Google outside of iboats to search for less than 4 characters within the site. "3hp site:forums.iboats.com" in a Google search box gives all 7000+ references to 3hp. Sometimes what you want is less than 4 characters but don't bother to search for common terms. Hope this helps.
Search for oil or 470 on the IO forums or all of the forums for that matter, there are a few thousand on each, but neither shows anything using search.
