I'm trying to clean the carb of a TN28 and I understand I must remove the primer part/s. I'm not sure how it works. I've read something in a great article that describes extraction of the brass cylinder but there seems to be a brass shaft within that cylinder. How does that come out? Is it suppose to "move" in operation to prime? Take a look at the pic.

Yes, HighTrim, that is exactly the article I read. But it does not mention the brass shaft within the brass cylinder. Seems I have to remove it first. I definitely don't want to destroy something in the removal.
