Looks like an alpha 1 to me..I would determine if it works ok before cleaning it up, but just because it's a bit corroded doesn't mean you need to replace unless you just happen to have a boat full of money........:)

Looks pretty bad in my eyes. Should I buy a re manufacturedView attachment 125884View attachment 125885 one or clean it up.

Ayuh,... Looks kinda like a Bravo I, but can't say for sure...
What's the badging on the motor,..??

Just because it's abit nasty lookin' is No reason to replace it, IF it's still workin' Ok...

Just scrape the crud off it, 'n shoot it with rattlecan Rustoleum black...

Definitely a Bravo 1. Yea, it looks ugly but if the gear oil is clean, paint it and run it.

+1 on the Bravo 1. It's been sitting in the water for a while, but a clean up and a new port trim ram end cap could see it looking and working like new again...

What year is the boat the motor is mounted on? Age is an indication of what outdrive model it is.

+2 on the Bravo 1. Looks like a fair amount of "ADS" Anode Deficiency Syndrome, but probably savable. Keep it and fix it up.
