I have not been able to fine out much about the 2002 Playtime 2200 Deckboat by Ohio Marine. I know the company is out of business. Does anyone have information on this manufacturer and model. I live on the Gulf of Mexico in FL. I am looking for a boat to take my family out skiing, tubing, wake boarding. Also to go island hopping to the small islands offshore. I am not looking at going far out into the gulf. With this boat suffice? Does anyone have experience with these boats and how they were built?

hi....welcome to iboats !

im not familiar with the building company that you are refering to...

BUT...i am familiar with boats in general.......

even the worst built boats can last 30 plus years ...as long as the owner did not neglect them.
so....if the boat you are looking at is seemingly in good condition and well kept....it could last you a very long time.

if you are really unsure... a marine survey of the craft is always good insurance from getting ripped off !

you are in fla.....many many of iboaters are capeable of doing the survey for you. ...heck...i think sasto will be in your area soon
