not able to find buyer so
whats worth to scrap
need idea on weight

Call the local scrap yards for prices. Figure 400 lbs. Might be more, might be less, really won't make much difference how much you get.

Ayuh,... Just as in trying to sell it, If scrapping it, the smaller ya make the pieces, the Better off you are....

The motor is an assembly of different metals...
If you sort out the iron, from the aluminum, you'll get better prices for 'em...

If ya don't sort the metals, you'll get whatever price yer local scrapper is paying for mixed junk...

Around here the going rate for basic scrap is about $0.06 per pound so your 400 pound engine is worth about $24.
If I were you, I would hang onto it and keep advertising the engine as a viable powerplant
