my vro 60 ho wont start? and info on changing tilt seal any ideas?

hi i just got my new boat and it has a johnson vro 60 hp 1990 and it what start and the seal on the tilt has gone can anyone help with some ideas is there much in changeing the seal ?

if it's the single cyclinder tilt assist they often give way. They have to be replaced so try to find a scrapped motor with one or Ebay for one. If your on about the hydraulic tilt and trim system then which seal is gone?

hey thanks it is the midle ram so tilt i think i bite the bullet and took it in to the shop hopfuly its ready before friday finish work r the year on thursday
