I have a 4.3 litre chevy engine the issue is that the transmition cobra outdrive on a VIP 1986 all original will either go into reverse or forward not both it appears that the cable cannot move the cotrol arm on top of the engine far enough if adjusted to extremes will either go to reverse or forward if you maually move the lever arm on the top of the motor about 5 degrees it will go inot either depending on which extreme the cable is adjusted to suspect cable from control to top of engine is stretched please advise. very few hours on boat less than 300 hours.
