Depth finder location

I have my depth finder located on the dash of my Q5sf and would like to be able to move it to the front when Im fishing. Has any one else done this. I have a Lowrance depth finder/fish finder .

I put one up front on my bass boat and I have one on the dash. Hummingbird has a kit for using one transducer with two screen locations.

I thought I would really like it up front but I hardly ever use it there. I end up rotating the one on my dash to face me when I'm on the forward casting deck.

I use my ears with my fish finder more than my eyes.
