I have some places on my hull and rails that need touch-up. The boat manufacturer is out of business. Where can I get paint to match and should I use an epoxy resin type paint?

i'd say avoid paint. you probably want gelcoat for the hull (if fiberglass), and the coating for the rails would depend on the construction material.
i got my gelcoat from fiberglassdiscountstore.com

It is a Fisher, 1999; and I think it is tan, but my wife says I'm somewhat color blind. Tracker Marine bought out Fisher, but I have not found them helpful in the past.

Well, I'm a fan of Valspar Tractor Paint. It's acrylic Enamel paint and they make a Hardener for it so it applies like Car enamel. Very hard and durable surface and you can spray the entire hull for less than $50 bucks. By using tubes of Acrylic enamel oil paints from the Artist supply store and a Base color of the Tractor paint, you can pretty much color match any color you want, if you have the desire and patience to do so. A tan color should be pretty easy to match. Page #10 of my thread has the details on how to prep and paint using the Valspar paint.

Thanks for all the help. I am familiar with Valspar since I have used it on tractors before. Will it hold up under water for about a week at a time?

Prolly, but I would not want to leave it for any longer than that.

What kind of paint would you recommend for longer storage in the water?
