1950 Tubbs Craft Sea Nymph what size motor.

What size motor should I put on this boat? It is a 15' aluminum v hull. I have a friend that has a 7.5 but I am leaning towards a 15. What would be too much?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

hard to tell from the pics, but it doesnt look like a v hull, 10-15 hp should make it go along quite well.
