1994 Lund 1750 Fisherman. New to me. Cleaned transom of corrosion and found the usual number of scew holes from transducers and god knows what else, Going to fill with 5200, prep, acid etch primer. I question paying for Lund match paint since with the age of the hull, it isn't going to match.

Can I use auto paint as a top coat ? Better off with Rustoleum or is it marine paint all the way? I use the boat in the salt, hose down after each use and it is kept indoors.

Don't want to cut a corner and find I get to re-paint in a year. Thanks for the advice.
