Got an ancient chrysler 55 outboard.
Motor would turn over but not start. I changed all the gas and pulled apart the carb. Cleaned it out with carb cleaner and compressed air.
Put it all back together and the motor starts and will run but you have to crack the throttle a bit but it will not idle.
Any suggestions on what to do next.
I don't know if theres an idle screw on carb or not.

No idle screw on the carb.It has an air screw usually top front of the carb.
Set it at 1 and 1/16th turn out.
The RPM's at 750-800 in gear in the water motor warm.
Then tutn the screw in gently till it bucks, kicks or stalls. Then back out 1/2 turn.
The idle is set at the towershaft.
