i have a ranger bass boat does ant one know how to do gel coat repair my gel coat on top is starting to turn milky looking

welcome to iboats.

chalky looking gellcoat is called oxidisation.

a good rubbing compound and re buff will remove it.

it will take elbow grease.....there is no miracle cure.

If it is really bad you can wet sand with 1000 or finer grit.

Compound and then polish to get out buff marks

Then use a qulity wax for sealing.

One Q before you do anything; is the gelcoat a solid color or is it flaked? (You'll see speckles in the surface like glitter)..

Its a Bass Boat ..

Its flaked ..

Good pics would get good responses though..

I know originals are, brought it up as I didn't know if it's had any mods or not.. If it's still flaked pics are going to be needed. That kind of gel can be a pain to work with
