18hp Fastwin swivel bracket?

I have a 1968 18hp Fastwin with a broken swivel bracket. I have found one from a 1962 but need to know if it will fit before I buy it.

They look to be the same but I saw another one for sale without the inner tube? (that I need) and it said it fit years 63-72.

Help!

I can't recall when, but somewhere in there I think they changed the inner tube part to accommodate larger bolts where the carry handle attaches to the tube. Might have been later than that, though...

The swivel brackets have different part numbers, indicating there is a difference somewhere. I don't know what the difference is though. At some point in time, they moved the zerk fitting to the bottom, with different liners.

Just about have to have everything side by side to compare to see if it can be used.

1962 = 303840, replaced by 379266
1968 = 382489 replaced by 383912

Thanks guys, The "new one" is on Ebay but has good pictures. I'll take mine apart this morning & see if it looks the same.

Yep the zerk is on the bottom of mine & is not on the ebay one. It looks like it'd still work but if not i;d be stuck with it. Any ideas who may have this part?
