Maintenance tips before starting a Johnson 35 hp that has been in storage.

A newbi to the forum, and to outboards. I picked up a 1980 Johnson 35 hp elect. start (j35ecsm) that is very clean. Do not know its history, or when it was last run. What is the recommend maintenance before I try to start.
