I have a 1991 Bayliner Trophy 23 foot walk around. After i bought the boat i discovered there was a of things rigged on it i have weeded out wiring problems and now im working on the live well. Under the floor their is a valve that says head pick up running from that valve a clear hose runs to a live well pump and from the top of the pump another hose runs to the live well fill. i checked the pump and it works and i also disconnected the hose from the pick up and ran water through it it seems clear? was this just totally just hooked up wrong or do i have a under powered pump maby? and help would be greatly appreciated Attached is a picture of the pump in the boat it sits the same way it just has screwed on adapters fore the hoses to slide on.
