5.1L MPI, bravo iii, 2001 Searay. I got into some sand 3 seasons ago on the river. Since then, I continue to accumulate stones in the thermostats on both port and starboard engines. This causes the engines to run cold until I am running on plane. Cools down right away when coming off plane. Does anyone have any suggestions on flushing the system? I have opened the lower plugs and run the engine, removed the hoses from lower manifold and run engine, still get stones. Where are those nasty devils hiding?
