Triming up it making a squshing noise and its slowing down,checked fluid level its ok but notist little bit of metal flake in fluid is it time for new seals? Thanks Kevin
Metal doesn't sound good. Seals usually are rubber, teflon or nylon in hydraulic systems that I have been exposed to and that has been a lot.....have not specifically been into a power trim but have looked at pics in my service manual.
It sounds like air in system I just notist little fluid (very little) coming from top around hydralic shaff.Do you think thats a easy rebuild or just replace whole system. Thanks for all your input great site. Kevin
