I am redoing an 87 bayliner 2450, new gauges and a tilt gauge, followed the wires from the sensor to a connector that the wires run into the harness,
tried checking for contunity with a long jumper wire from the connector to under the dash and am not finding the wires to the sensor at all, before I just rewire it
I thought I ask if any one knows and what the color code might be. Thanks

Give us some more info on your boat and put it in your signature. What engine is it? I might have the wiring diagram.

The boatt is a 87 Baylinner 2450 Sunbridge.
It has a 5.7 Chevy engine thats 2 years old as I was told from the seller, It had the 5.0 chevy engine previously
the outdrive is a OMC cobra. The sensor is there....but it didn't have a tilt gauge.
Thanks for your help.

Bayliners didn't put the gauge on the boats in that year. I had the same year. It is highly unlikely that your sensor is even going to work anymore either. Very prone to failure and not worth replacing in my opinion.
