gauge cluster problems

I have a 1994 glastron and the gas gauge, trim gauge, temp gauge do not work properly they move around some but not like they should. the speedometer and tachometer work fine. i checked all the fuses and they all check out OK. i am a hvac service tech so i have some ele knowledge but very little dc experience or knowledge. can someone please shed some light on my problems. thanks

Just get new guages! You can get all three of those for around $100.00 total! Save yourself the headache of trying to fix those old ones.

Ayuh,..... Test the Senders for those gauges...

Welcome to iboats!:cool:

Since they are all acting strangely, look for what they have in common. That would be a common negative lead and a common positive lead that goes to the ignition switch. Check all the connections, especially the first in the chain.
