20' Starcraft wondering if anyone knows the year of this boat?

I am looking for information on this boat. I am having problems with the prop and cant get any info from the dealers. I'm looking for year max power/HP for the boat any other info would be great. I have a 175 HP merc on it and it seems that it has to much motor. I think it is early 70's Islander there are no plates on this bot to give me info.

My buddy's 21' Chieftain is rated for 170 so you're probably not over the limit.

Can you get the HIN off the starboard transom corner. Should be stamped in the metal.

Sorry it was late and didn't get the picture up.
I don't have any ID left on this boat. Everything was stripped off. I have a new one for it but it is from the CG.
Also the boat is fiberglass.
