Electronics restart........

When I restart motor all electronics do the same.

1970's 350 chevy motor

2 batteries with battery switch

electr feeds for finders and radio are hooked directly to battery planning on installing terminal up front for electronics

I need a temp fix till I rewire it this winter......thanks for any help!!

The voltage drop while the engine is cranking is what does it. Until your electronics are on a separate battery that does not see the voltage drop from the engine being cranked, you will have the problem. Isolaters and VSR systems that keep the batteries isolated from each other prevents that from happening.

maybe not don ..if he has them on a switch with an aux positon this may not be live whilst cranking so everything goes off whist cranking ...

Posts dont get deleted so what was the source of the problem >>.

He said all electrical feeds are directly to the battery. Therefore the AUX position is not a factor (if there was one).
