Looking at building a third pontoon but I have a carriage trailer. Wondered if anyone has done this before and could give me some pointers? Thanks

I just converted my trailer to a bunk style. It was a TON of work, but well worth it. The biggest lesson I learned was to use 2" square tubing for the cross member supports as opposed to 1 1/2“ tubing.

With the amount of work needed to convert, I recomend starting a new frame from sctatch with c channel. your carriage style trailer may require more work to change height and width requirements. a tritoon will have a bit more weight. not to mention the stability difference with a wider footprint.
