25 hp mariner not firing on either cylinder

I have a 25 hp mariner that I ran yesterday. It ran fine going to my first spot, when I tried to restart it wouldn't crank. After sometime it cranked again while running back to ramp it skipped a couple times. When I shut it off it wouldnt crank back. When I got it home I checked the fire it has no fire on either cylinder. Any help on what to check now would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Could be a lot of things,What is the year and model and serial number of your engine?

The serial number is 06260288 according to Merc that makes it a 1990 model. Any help would be appreciated, definately not the kill switch I have gotten that far with it.

If you are SURE the problem is not in the kill circuit,Try disconnecting the voltage regulator.

I have a similar problem with mine. (1984 25C M 695-S-023704) I am unable to connect with the last posts link.
Also what is the proper spark plug for my motor? Thanks ahead of time for your help!
