Having a problem removing the foot. The shift rod linkage will not disengage. Can anyone help me with this procedure? Found the old motor in a barn, got it running, just not cooling. Don't have the money for the Manuel. Thanks for any heip.

Can't be sure without serial number, but its likely the powerhead has to come off to disconnect the lever.....:(

I was afraid of that. Model CD-16 Ser 1909931
Is there anyway I can remove the shift rod? Maybe by removing the skeg?
