hello everyone, I have a question. would a 1985 mercury black max 150 hp TT fit on my 1989 115 hp mercury?

If its the 3 ram unit ...yes. You just have to make sure if the motors are the same as they had a 2 and a 3 wire t/t motor.

mine is a 2 wire the black max is a three wire. Will it still work? and yes they are both 3 ram

Yes it will work but you will need to do a little rewiring on relays to make the 3 wire work....
