Hi, I am looking at a 1987 Wellcraft Coastal 19' with the 3.7 engine. Owner states there is a coolant leak at the camshaft seal, apparently not an uncommon problem with this engine. Any advice on the feasibility of this fix? Is it totally nuts to get into this repair (by a pro, not me)? I have repair quotes ranging from $1200 to 2000. Thanks for any opinions. Larry

If you do not plan on doing it yourself, it would be wise to take bond-o's advice.
