Yamaha 50 horse oil injection warning system

I recently purchased an outfit with a 2005 50horse oil injected yamaha outboard. The owners manual talks about warning gauges and oil level gauges which I dont have on the dash. Is there any internal warnings on the motor or controls if the motor is not getting oil?Also it talks abou hour meter which I dont see. All I have on the dash for gauges is speedometer and ampmeter

It is best to give a complete model #. The key switch should contain a warning buzzer which will sound if a overheat switch or oil level switch is set.
If this motor is a two stroke. You should install the proper tach. which will contain warning lights and oil level icons.

Thanks a lot for the info. I dont have model # readily available as the boat is in winter storage but it is a 2 stroke. I saw on the wiring harness that there is an open connector on the front which may be a connection for anothetr gauge.
