Gear oil on the floor

Had motor winterized and now i have gear oil on my floor after i lowed tilt down for the winter. Could this be oil that ran out the top hole and down into the outside prop area. it is not alot maybe a coupel oz.

There's 5 places gear oil can get out of the housing; the top reservoir screw, the bottom reservoir screw, a seal (prop shaft or drive shaft). or there is a crack in the housing, my guess would be that one of the reservoir screws is loose.

Thanks i was going to check them today. I do not think it is the housing( hope not) Seals would not be a bad thing i gues they need replacing once in awhile.

Also ensure that what you are seeing is not just unburnt gas/oil dripping out of your exhaust. This is a normal condition and it happens frequently if the motor is fogged. This exhaust oil will usually be a little more dark then gear oil.
