Replacement canvas for Chris Craft Scorpion 266 (1985 model)

I'm looking for a replacement canvas cover for a chris craft scorpion 266 built in 1985. Anyone have any good suggestions as to where i can get one? It seems pretty hard to find one online...but i could just be looking in all the wrong places. Any suggestions would be appreciate!

The Only place yer gonna find 1 is at yer local Upholstery, 'n Canvas Shop...
They can build ya a brand new 1...

Is that a boat that is new to you and for which you are excited to track down some parts and such? For seats, covers, various vinyl and upholstery work, look for what Bond-o mentions. Sometimes, it is best to ask the local marinas and boat yards for a local guy. Local guys can come and measure and talk to you with the boat and work out exactly what you want and offer things you never thought of.

That being said, since you sound like a new guy to boating, I suggest you get the boat blessed mechanically and then spend the dough for canvas. Good luck. Looks like a boat that can offer some fun times.

As stated above you won't likely find new canvas premade for your boat but rather it's a custom endeaver.......fwiw the price can vary a LOT but you are generally looking at a couple thousand clams.......another thing to consider.... since you already have a thread about your boat on here you can just ask all of your various questions on it.... It makes it easier for us to keep track and get you lined out plus it keeps all of your info together for quick reference

Thanks for the help guys, looks like a custom job it is. That is the general vibe ive been getting...ill try keep the posts to the other topic i started up which is heading in the same direction :) Thanks again.

Where are you in Ontario ndloo? There's a guy down the street from me that does just that.

i'm in Toronto, but the boat is near Brantford over the winter. Its a fairly decent amount of ground to cover, where is down the street for you :p?
