Inline 6 Exhaust manifold drain plug

My exhaust manifold drain plug(one on the underside...directly above the engine petcock) is AFU.

My local marina's arrogant parts "pro" not only couldn't help me...but questioned whether Mercury even MADE such a motor, so obviously no help.

Any idea where I can get a replacement...or can I fashion one from something found at a decent hardware/plumbing store?

Ayuh,... As BD says,...
It's nothing but an 1/8", or 1/4" brass pipe plug....

Correct. I got mine at a local hardware store. Mine was 1/8"

Go to a different parts place.

Thanks for the help...Found a 1/8" brass plug at the local hardware store for $1.05. Went ahead and bought two just in case.
