1990 Wellcraft Sport 18' alarm issue

When I throttle up to around 27rpms, the fuel gauge flashes and an alarm goes off. This does happen every time I try to get up on plane, but once every five times or so. Does anyone know the cause, where I can find the alarm under the console, and how to service? Thx

I assume you mean 2700 rpm's. Is the alarm constant or repetitively sounding in a beep beep fashion. What makes the boat move....OB, I/O?

If intermittent beep, and you have an OB 2 stroke and you have onboard oil storage, you might fill the tank and see if it stops.

Ayuh,... Most alarms are Motor based systems, 'n you make No mention of yer motor...

thx for responses...yes 2700 rpm...oil tank full...1990 Yamaha 115 2stroke

engine is 1990 Yamaha ob...2 stroke...oil tank was filled when boat was serviced...tech thought issue was fuel lines, which they replaced, including new fuel/water separator...tech also replaced voltage regulator thinking that might have contributed...boat now running on temp tank...tech wants boats back at year's end to check fuel tank...bills starting to add up, so i am hoping to find solution and possibly address myself...thanks
