question for don s or bondo

i just recently replaced all the o rings on both rams. the cylinders are in really good condition, the problem is after everything was back together one is about a quarter inch longer. made it really difficult to get the bolt through the drive and rams. is there something i can do to correct this problem. boat is a 90 wellcraft 4.3 alpha 1

You will notice, when the rams are disconnected you can push one ram in and the other goes out.<br />Just hook one of them up to the drive and lift or push the drive down till the other one lines up.
