AQ130 - Pulling Head

I am working on a old pair of aq130's which have been stood for years. After replacing oil cooler and water pump seals and various gaskets I have just found out I have water in my no3 cylinder. Time for the head to come off for inspection. Question is, will I need new head bolts or can the old ones go straight back in? Not sure if these are stretch bolts or not?

Kind Regards,
Louis

Re: AQ130 - Pulling Head

they can be reused if they pass inspection- they are not torque-to-yield style fasteners
oddly enough, the manual says the lockwashers should not be reused, but I would reuse them if they still have spring to them

Excellent, thanks! That's going to save me a few quid, I have already spent a small fortune on these engines :S
