Hi All.

I have just bourght a 50 Hp Mariner 4 stroke from 96.

It had no Control box ( Gas - Gear )

So now I have bourght a Quiksilver remote with Powertrim.

Can i Buy a complete wiring from the engine to the box?

Or is the easy way to make all the electric my self?

There is Electric start and powertrim.

Can anyone give me a wiring diagram maybe?

Engine Number: 06278696

Thanks.

Re: Mariner 50 4-stroke , wiring from motor to remote box

Are you sure the s/n is 06278696 or could it be 0G278696?

Presuming that it is 0G278696, it is a model:

7F50412DD MARINER 1995 50

Parts listing:

http://www.crowleymarine.com/mercury-outboard/1180.cfm

Service Manual P/N: 90-828631R3

http://1manual.com/Mercury manuals/Service Manual PDFs/FourStroke/828631r3/cover.pdf

You must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed to use this manual. If you scroll down to the lower part of the opening page, you will see the various engine components in red. Click on the one you want and when the first page opens, click on the "Save As" icon at the top LH corner of the page and you can save it to your computer.

In the service manual, check under "Wiring Diagrams" for the external wiring harness, etc.
