I have recently purchased a 1995 302 Volvo Penta (Ford built) motor, fortunetly I got it fo somewhat of a deal, unfortunetly I was unable to find out any background info on the motor and now that I have it home an am looking at the engine the exhaust manifolds, risers and raw water pump have all been removed, it also appears that the impeller is missing. Any idea why this might be. It is very hard to diagnose the problem when you are not sure what the original problem was before someone tore the engine apart? Any help would be appreciated.
