engine id by serial number

i am having trouble finding what year motor is the silver plug on engine is G3603074 this is only number i can find this is a evinrude motor

According to my very limited serial number list, it should be a 1971 or 1972. Does that sound right to you? EDIT: Oops, that doesn't sound right to me. My list is for Johnson motors. So ignore this reply.

thx for your time .what i do know about it is it is a 2 cylinder and it is a 30 or 35 hp
