6.0l LQ4 or LQ9 engine swap?

I'm curious what would be involved in swapping a 6.0l LQ4 or LQ9 Chevy engine (newer truck/van 6.0l chevy) into a boat that previously had a 305 or 350 in it?

I know switching to fuel injection means I'll have to mess with the fuel system a bit, and obviously mount the ECU somewhere waterproof... What other problems might I run into doing this?

Do they make marine manifolds and stuff for these engines?

Thanks!

Oh, and assuming I have everything I need from the donor vehicle (ECU, wiring, etc..), and have a mechanic that will do the work for free, how much do you think the project would cost?

Thanks!

You need a marine rated starter & alternator. You need a water jacketed exhaust system, you need a way to couple it to the drive, & you need motor mounts.
No wait, you need an engine they already make that stuff for.
Is that block like a 6.2? I think Ilmor does marinized 6.2L GM's. Maybe you can get their accessories. Sounds like a lot of collecting and experimenting to me.
Why not do a 383 stroker on a small block? That's 6.2 liters I think. It's an old school design but it's been figured out so you don't have to.
