I have an Evinrude 50 and I think it is about a 1973. I found what I believe to be the throttle linkage spring and it is not completely hooked up. My problem is, I don't know how the spring is supposed to be installed. The main part of the spring is hooked up, but the part of the spring that would put tension on it is just hanging out. The part number for the spring is #0314807 i believe, and is called "spring,throttle link. electric start." Does anyone have a photo or could anyone take a photo of theirs so I can see how this spring goes in? Thanks!
